  • We loved visiting this mosque. Firstly, it is beautiful from every angle and the pure gold dome is noticeable from very far away! We went inside to view the beauty inside and the people sat at the door were so friendly and helpful. As a visitor you are asked to put on a black robe to cover yourself and there is a visitors entrance which clearly leads you into the permitted areas of the mosque. We were told we could take photos inside however as a visitor I would not presume this as there are signs saying not to take photos. We took the lead from those who welcomed us at the door.
  • It’s such a gorgeous place. It is different from the mosques that I have been to before. It’s simple - mainly using the colours of white and gold - and is super spacious! You can only visit certain time of the day (and some days like Fridays are closed for tourists) but it’s worth going! It’s free and they will give you the gown to cover yourself properly to enter the mosque. The area you can enter is limited.
