Cheetah Experience reviews

This was my first experience as a volunteer working with animals. With the help of staff, I soon knew more about cheetahs and other cats than I thought possible. The staff is truely amazing. It is..... more »
One of the best places in the world. A place where all people are smiling and loving what they are doing. You can feel the love, passion and dedication of the stuff members for all the animals. We had one of the best vacation/volunteer experience in our life. We never expected to get this close to these majestic animals. However, to get really close to the animals you need to join the volunteer program and contribute to wild life conservation. This is not a petting zoo were animals are exploited for a quick Holiday-selfie. Here the animals get the respect they deserve. You can rather have an all-inclusive vacation in some autocratic countries or you come here and do something useful and get an experience you will never forget! Thanks to all our new friends we made here and especially the stuff members for such a great time. Hope we will meet again soon!
An interesting visit, with lots of new information and opportunities to come up close to the animals. The owners obviously care for their animals, with enrichment activities and such. The animals certainly seem well cared for. That been said, they have a rather eclectic collection of animals there. Lions and cheetahs are local, but the wolves and tiger (although interesting and beautiful in their own right) left me scratching my head. All considered they are certainly worth a visit, just not an "authentic local experience".
