A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from the city and head to Ile Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité. Change things up with a short trip to Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte in Maincy (about 54 minutes away). There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at Musee d'Orsay, admire the landmark architecture of Luxembourg Palace, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, and contemplate the long history of Arc de Triomphe.
