Aimed at reconstructing the 1st-century farm and village in Galilee, the village features a large number of traditional houses, ancient-style workshops, terrace fields, and dry stone mills. The Scottish foundation-run theme park gives a wide range of hands-on experience to visitors, just 0.5 km (0.3 mi) away from the ancient town center. Explore a Jesus-style carpentry shop or check out a good shepherd next to a pen full of sheep, which you can feed. Fabulous, walking through an area where Jesus will have walked. A very interesting guide explaining the way things were 2000yrs ago. We had a biblical lunch here.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this tour. Our guide was excellent. He used examples from the farm and orchard to compare with the teachings Jesus used from scriptures. They gave such new inspiration for the olives, grapes, sheep, wheat, etc that Jesus would have been accustom to in his life growing up in this area.
